   Trumpet player Steve Hyde, known for his secure upper register and unmistakable tone, has been igniting horn sections in the Philadelphia area for over twenty years.   

 

   Following his musical training at Pennsville HS and Glassboro State College, Steve went on to perform with musical groups of many and varied styles including: The Israel Pops Orchestra, The Arden Theatre Repertoire Orchestra, The Big Bands of Kevin Kelton, Stan Maltz, and John Clark, as well as a surprising number of Latin, Blues, Rock, and Jazz ensembles. Philadelphia music fans will probably recognize Steve as a former member of the Chatter Band.

   A strong advocate for Music Education, Steve has made guest appearances as well as conducted master classes and clinics with many area high school bands.

 

   Steve (a proud and loving family man) and his wife Michele share the joy of their beautiful  daughter Shannon.

   Steve is grateful for his parents' early encouragement and support - as well as the guidance of his Trumpet teachers. He prefers Calicchio Trumpets that have been customized by Larry Gianni and Lenny Zapf.
